Having practiced massage therapy and bodywork collectively for over 50 years, my wife and I have answered a lot of questions, encountered a lot of "situations", listened to a lot of venting, and shared a lot of advice and wisdom.  We have also answered numerous inquiries from our massage students concerning their family members and new "clients" they were seeing as part of their training process.

In this section we share some of these experiences and information we have been exposed to through our continuing education and constant thirst for knowledge.

Pet; Massage

Millions of households around the world are home to an domesticated animal or two we call “pets”.  The assortment of fish, birds, cats, dogs, reptiles and horses all serve to provide some form of companionship and nurture us on an emotional and spiritual level.

We have been owned by cats in the past and currently share living space with our dog, Monty.  He is the first canine we have lived with from puppyhood having adopted rescue dogs in the past.  He is also the first that has grown up with the benefit of regular massage time.  And he has come to expect it if not demand it on a daily basis.  Smart dog!

Sharing the Cold and Flu?

When our children were younger our eldest came down with chicken pox, so like many parents do, we put our youngest in close proximity in the hopes he would come down with it and we only would have to deal with the illness once.  No such luck!

Chapman's Reflexes

Chapman’s Neurolymphatic Reflexes

In an era increasingly dependent on prescription and over-the-counter medications along with their attendant side effects the natural health care methods of the past get pushed to the background and may be forgotten.

Learn more about this natural system of reflexes anyone can work with to bring about relief from chronic or acute symptoms.

This network of easily located reflex areas can be self-activated with your finger tips to restore balance to and maintain normal function of major organs such as the heart, thyroid, kidneys, liver,  lungs and intestines.  These reflexes were discovered and mapped by osteopathic physician Dr. Frank Chapman over years of experience treating patients in his clinical medical practice in the early 1900’s.  The reflexes work through the nervous system to influence the disease fighting lymphatic system in the corresponding organs.  That is why they are called neurolymphatic reflexes.

Raindrop® Technique

Raindrop Technique originated in the 1980s from the research of Dr. Gary Young working with a Lakota medicine man named Wallace Black Elk. It integrates reflexology, massage and the power of essential oils in bringing the body into structural and electrical alignment.  A Raindrop session, using the oils provided in the original collection, provides a cleansing at the cellular level.  The molecular composition of the oils have the effect of clearing receptor sites on cell membranes and facilitating the release of stored toxins from the cells and tissues.  Raindrop sessions are part of a comprehensive cleansing of the body when combined with nutritional cleansing of the digestive tract.  As such, including Raindrop in your natural healing practices to regain and maintain your optimal health is recommended highly.

What's Your Frequency?

Frequency is all around us and IN us

You may be aware that we have energy waves moving around and through us all the time.  Right now there are radio waves (AM and FM) that are all around us and we are unaware of them until we tune a receiver (radio) to the correct frequency to listen to our favorite music.  Television, likewise, has different energy frequencies that are assigned to each channel and we are unaware of them until we turn our television sets on to the desired channel.
